ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location:
Walton Lane, Husbands Bosworth. The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 1 day commencing on the 26th March 2021.

The Millennium Pavilion Clock

It would seem that this diversion is still in place, since transporters, etc. are clearly still using this diversion through HB.

Closure of Pincet Lane Starts TODAY!

REMEMBER: There is likely to be lots of extra traffic in Bosworth today owing to the closure of Pincet Lane at its North end. All the traffic which normally uses Pincet Lane (for example, car transporters) will be diverted along Kilworth Road, Berridges Lane and Bell Lane for approximately four days.

Closure of Pincet Lane, Advance Notice

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is to be made for the closure of the northern end of Pincet Lane to facilitate a new water connection.

This should commence on 14th December 2020 and not exceed 4 days. The planned diversion will send all traffic through Husbands Bosworth village, so watch out for a higher number of heavy vehicles on Bell Lane, Berridges Lane and Kilworth Road for those 4 days.

ACTIVITY AT FIRS FARM TODAY

For anyone who noticed the activity today, Leics County Council has confirmed that this was equipment being removed legitimately. A suitable Waste Management company for this complex situation has now been identified, but a contract is yet to be confirmed, though this may be imminent.
