Car Driven At Police in High Street Burglary Attempt

Police were alerted after shutters were forced at our supermarket at around 1.00 am this morning. A Police DC, Chantel Booth, was clipped by the car in Bell Lane and she was also threatened with a crowbar.

Quarry Mud on Roads in Husbands Bosworth - an Update

Husbands Bosworth Arsonist on the run

The arsonist Daniel Milburn, who caused three fires in our village in August 2018, has gone missing from Kirkham Prison, Lancs. He was sentenced to five and a half years in October 2018.

He set fire to property at Mowsley Court and Brooke House Care Home, and also a van near the Church. More details on

Proposed Road Closure - Likely delays along A4304  20-27 Jan 2020

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location:
Bosworth Road, Walton (see attached plan). The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Western Power Distribution to facilitate new electricity supply.
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 7 days commencing on the 20th January 2020.
