Play Areas Closed - Playing Fields Open

Following the Prime Minister's national address on the evening of Monday 23rd March 2020, and in line with Government directive, the Play Area and Skate Park in Husbands Bosworth have been closed from Midnight on 23rd March for a minimum period of 21 days.

Parish Office Closure - alternative contact information

Husbands Bosworth Parish Council has taken the decision, in light of recent Government Guidance to practice Social Distancing and to implement Home Working wherever possible, that the Parish Office will be closed for the foreseeable future.

'HELPING HANDS' group set up in Bosworth in response to COVID-19

Yesterday a new group called Helping Hands was set up in Bosworth to offer help to anyone SELF-ISOLATING, or just keeping themselves safe indoors because of COVID-19 (the new Coronavirus).

Firs Farm - Updated Information

The Parish Council, in conjunction with the agencies involved in the current investigation taking place at Firs Farm in Husbands Bosworth, have created an information page with responses to Parishioners' questions.

Parish Office Closed 12 and 13 March

Regretfully the Parish Office will be closed on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th March due to staff absence.

It is anticipated that the office will be open as usual on Monday 16th March.

Environment Agency Investigation On Local Farm

Leics. County Council and the Environment Agency are investigating the dumping of a huge amount of waste at Firs Farm, Welford Road. This farm, which is next to our village allotments, has had its gates secured by LCC and diggers are on site.

Saturday Surgery - Office Open on 15th February

Husbands Bosworth parish Office will be open for our monthly Saturday Surgery on Saturday 15th February between 10AM and 12PM with Cllr. Bill Fletcher.
