Out walking today it was disappointing to find this unsightly pile of 16 large plastic containers of paint in the lay-by alongside The Wharf Kennels (just inside our Parish).
Hopefully we can get Highways to shift them, but it's a shame that they weren't taken to the tip in the first place, as they would have fitted in an ordinary car boot.

REMEMBER: There is likely to be lots of extra traffic in Bosworth today owing to the closure of Pincet Lane at its North end. All the traffic which normally uses Pincet Lane (for example, car transporters) will be diverted along Kilworth Road, Berridges Lane and Bell Lane for approximately four days.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

This should commence on 14th December 2020 and not exceed 4 days. The planned diversion will send all traffic through Husbands Bosworth village, so watch out for a higher number of heavy vehicles on Bell Lane, Berridges Lane and Kilworth Road for those 4 days.

The work to install the new Play Carpet at the Children's Play Area is now complete and the Play Area is now open for business! The wooden steps up to the slide have now been replaced also, although it's proving difficult to source bark chip to finish this off. We're still working on this one!
