More Rubbish Dumped

Out walking today it was disappointing to find this unsightly pile of 16 large plastic containers of paint in the lay-by alongside The Wharf Kennels (just inside our Parish).

Hopefully we can get Highways to shift them, but it's a shame that they weren't taken to the tip in the first place, as they would have fitted in an ordinary car boot.

MOBILE LIBRARY DATE CHANGE

Advice has been received today that the Mobile Library, which was expected to visit Husbands Bosworth on Friday 19 March 2021, will now visit on FRIDAY 26 MARCH 2021. Time slots at the various locations will remain as normal.

Please pass this on to anyone you know who uses the Mobile Library.

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location:
Walton Lane, Husbands Bosworth. The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 1 day commencing on the 26th March 2021.

The Millennium Pavilion Clock

The Millennium Pavilion Clock

The recent replacement of the facias at the front entrance of the The Pavilion, allowed the opportunity to remove, clean and refurbish the Pavilion clock. This has now been done and the clock returned to its prominent position. Thank you to Steve Lydiatt for carrying out this work.
